Now that we've got it all planted and nurtured, we're happy to introduce to the Colliers offering. Empire Zoysia is a low maintenance, hard wearing and fast recovering turf breed. It requires less mowing than Kikuyu, Couch and Buffalo lawns and can withstand shade, salt and heat/humidity.

Remember to raise the mower height to prevent scalping your lawn.

We also advise keeping watering your lawn to a minimum. Over-watering during the winter can leave the grass vulnerable to fungi.

Simply drive a screwdriver into the soil, and if it can reach 6-7 inches, it's perfect. If not, keep watering.
