At Lucia. we wanted to showcase our reception desk with a custom in-house design, featuring sculptural birch plywood slats from VJS Joinery Supplies and an Infinity Surfaces Taj Mahal porcelain manufactured, supplied & installed by AMU Stone 🤍
This is what bespoke looks like - individual batters with precision angles to showcase the curve 💫

Meet Elliot - Apprentice Cabinet Maker at Lucia Joinery & Design.

Elliot will qualify as a cabinet maker in November this year, and it has been our pleasure to watch him build his skills and expertise in the trade.

Elliot brings genuine enthusiasm to the projects he undertakes and has a willingness to do his best each and every time. Elliot is keen to learn, then develop and apply his skills ... he also loves a chat !!

We're proud of how far Elliot has come and looking forward to him qualifying at the end of 2026.

Meet Peter - Project Supervisor at Lucia Joinery & Design.

With years (or even decades ...) of experience in our industry, Peter can spot millimeter adjustments from a mile away! His eye for precision is a key attribute of his and we're grateful for it. Peter is a steady hand and ensures plans & specifications are met with accuracy and craftsmanship.

But what really makes Peter a legend around here? He's a total team player. Ask a dumb question, need a hand, or just want someone to double-check a measurement - Peter's got you.

Meet Kylie - Business Manager at Lucia Joinery & Design.

Before joining the world of bespoke cabinetry, Kylie spent close to 10 years as an Executive Assistant with NSW Government ... so if there's one thing she knows, it's how to stay organised (it's basically her superpower ✨) Most days Kylie is busy running the business behind the scenes and slowly but surely learning to speak fluent "cabinet maker"!!

Kylie is leading colour consultations with clients at Lucia, adding an emerging design sensibility to her schedule-loving brain. Thanks Kylie, for keeping Lucia running smoothly, one to-do list at a time 📝.

Meet Matt - Director of Lucia Joinery & Design.

With 20 years experience in the cabinet making industry, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every project at Lucia. As a qualified cabinet maker & draftsman his expertise in our industry is extensive.

Matt has career experience having worked in stone benchtop industry, he can guide clients with natural, engineered or porcelain bench-top solutions.

His standards are high (sometimes higher than the golf scores he's chasing on the weekend 🏌️) Matt is the one quietly leading Lucia, projects are delivered on time, solving problems before they exist and making sure every project leaves the workshop with the quality Lucia is known for.
