Winter is definitely kicking in with colder afternoons and evenings. Be sure to run your hand and eye along any heater cords to check for damage and if you spot anything suspect don't risk it! Call us for an electrical safety test or discontinue use to be certain.

With snow and frosts on the way for many parts of NSW you may be turning on the heater or lighting the fire for the first time. Before doing either of these things check you have a working smoke alarm installed. Stay warm.

Another round of recalls thanks to the ACCC.
Always inspect electrical items (particularly cords) for any damage or obvious faults before use. Even new items pose a risk of electric shock. To be sure items are safe ensure all items are tested and tagged by the experts at Just Testing Australia

Another self balancing scooter has been recalled due to risk of electric shock. Don't forget to always do a visual inspection of charging leads for damage before use and have your items regularly tested and tagged to be confident they are safe.
