Our creekbed is coming along nicely! This job required all of the existing river rock in the area to be dug out before we even started! It took 3 days to do this by hand! But once they were gone it was all systems go!! Well that was the plan … however getting the sandstone boulders proved to be challenging! So we got resourceful and the community pulled together and we found some rocks!! Now we just need to add the bridge and the rubber and then it will be ready for the kids :)

We combined the existing boardwalks, which were looking a little drab, and gave the whole space a fresh new look!

By adding garden beds, a stage, and a music wall, the area has been transformed into a more inviting, creative, and engaging outdoor space for children to explore, perform, play, and connect with nature.

This area was a bit of a dead space… so we turned it into a veggie patch area with a compost, worm farm a potting table and multiple raised garden beds as well as dwarf fruit trees. Now this area is special place that the kids and educators enjoy using

Meet the Flockers!! This chicken coop is like the Hilton for hens! It has a an indoor /outdoor area that’s fully enclosed so the chickens have a lot of space over the weekend. It also has an open outdoor space that they can roam when the preschool is open. It has Perspex windows so the kids can see the chickens inside :)

We’ve given the entrance at Tongarra Preschool and Early Learning Centre a fresh new look 🌿

Before, families were exposed to the weather with no undercover area at the gate. Now, the new pergola provides protection from the elements, making drop-offs and pick-ups smoother, safer and drier.

A practical upgrade that also creates a warm, welcoming first impression.
