Giving These Old Queenslanders a Second Life

Big progress is being made on site at Palmer Street in Windsor, with the two existing Queenslanders carefully stripped back, structurally prepared in readiness for relocation to their new homes onsite. Demolition and make-safe works are now substantially complete, allowing the team to focus on the next major milestone: moving these historic buildings while preserving their character and heritage features. All while keeping the original fireplace and chimney pictured intact!
It's not every day you get to move a house... let alone two! Stay tuned as these Queenslanders begin their journey across the site. 🚛🏠🏠

Behind every great project are people making a real difference. It was a privilege for the Box & Co project team to meet the generous land donors whose contribution has helped make the Youngcare Bridgeman Downs development possible. The project involves the design and construction of eight specialised residential villas for young people with high care needs, delivering safe, accessible and purpose-built homes that support independence, dignity and quality of life. We are proud to be working alongside Youngcare and its supporters to help bring this important community-focused development to life.

A huge congratulations to this amazing team of Box & Co employees who tackled the 10km run yesterday! Whether they were chasing a personal best, the finish line, or just the promise of a post-run drink, they all got it done and represented Box & Co with pride.

A special shout-out to Zac Shepherd, our Project Manager, who completed the half marathon.

Fantastic effort by everyone involved. The determination, commitment, and grit shown by the team is something to be proud of.

Huge congratulations to Pierce Considine on once again taking out the annual Friday Afternoon Chicken Challenge at Box & Co!
For those not in the know, the Friday chicken challenge is a proud Box & Co tradition that dates back many years — to a time when a frozen chicken was considered a real luxury. Each week, the team rolls the dice in a friendly (but fiercely competitive!) game to win a chook. The staff member who racks up the most wins across the year claims the ultimate bragging rights and the coveted annual trophy.
Pierce last took home the title in 2021, and last year he did it again — making this his fourth overall win. Consistency, skill, and perhaps a little bit of lucky dice magic!
Well played, PC.

After proudly taking out the Box & Co Annual Golf Trophy in 2024, it was time for Byron Campbell to hand over the trophy — and the iconic orange jacket — to our 2025 newest champion, Ben O’Regan.
The annual golf tournament is always a highlight on the Box & Co calendar. It’s a day of competitive spirit, questionable swings, great laughs, and (for one lucky player) ultimate bragging rights for the year ahead.
Congratulations to Ben on an outstanding performance in his debut year — no easy feat! And hats off to Byron for being a gracious handover champion… we’re sure the competitive fire is already building for a comeback.

Big splashes are coming! 🏊‍♂️ Beenleigh Aquatic Centre is nearing completion.

Big progress at the Beenleigh Aquatic Centre! 🏊🏊‍♀️

We’re excited to share that just under 70,000 tiles have now been laid as part of the construction of the brand‑new Beenleigh pool.

A huge thank you to Box & Co and City Venues Management, our incredible contractors on site, for their hard work and dedication.

I was thrilled to be invited for a behind‑the‑scenes look at the build, and it’s amazing to see this project coming to life.

Stay tuned — the official opening date will be announced soon. The finish line is in sight, and we can’t wait to welcome the community back into the water.
