What a site! Who could ever imagine, but so thankful no one was hurt. 🙏
Dave jumped into action once he saw cars floating out the river an into the ocean! He became incident controller of this catastrophic site and along with the other amazing brigade members from Wye, Apollo Bay and elsewhere they assisted with evacuating people to safety and checking cars, properties to make sure everyone was accounted for.
Start of the week these guys were fighting fires 🔥 end of the week fighting the floods ☔️
Thanks also to our boys for holding the fort, while Dave is out doing what he does! 🙏

Many thanks to the immediate response from and .builders for the community bbq. for hosting thirsty, displaced and hungry campers.

Plenty of cleaning up to do.

Everything happened so quickly today - thanks to all involved. And thanks to all the staff who promptly evacuated the premises today.
