Michael wears many hats in life, Husband, Boss man, Dad, Human doggie bed, Inventor amongst many other things.
Today the inventor cap was on for Mick-Gyver, coming up with a contraption that streamlined their painting process.

With only a few pieces of rubbish, some tape and a few cable ties he's created a contraption I have dubbed the paint stop-er-er device so he and the boys could paint without having to cut in.
The tradie mind is a wonderful thing

As builders we often struggle with people's unrealistic expectations of renovation costs . Shows like 'The Block' do not help their expectations. When they say that a bathroom costs $20,000 they forget to highlight all of the things that are not included in their numbers ( not included : tiles, cabinetry, electrical, painting, plumbing) . Information from their previous years shows many of their bathrooms cost between $40,000 and $60,000 .
Just remember folks if you want a cheap bathroom it's not going to be good, if you want a good bathroom it's not going to be cheap.
