Introducing EWP – SKYE! 🚛⚡️

Standing tall at 11 metres, SKYE is our go-to girl for ASP Level 2 overhead works, street lighting, service connections, defect rectifications and those jobs where ladders just aren’t going to cut it.

And before anyone asks... yes, she is named after Paw Patrol’s Skye 🐾✈️. That decision came courtesy of Nathan Mcivor daughter, and as with most things involving daughters, there wasn’t really a vote involved. 😂

Whether it’s getting our team safely into the air, helping keep the lights on, or making life easier on challenging access jobs, SKYE is an important part of the Elite-PEM fleet and earns her keep every day.

Introducing Technician - Tyler Garland!

Tyler started with the team a little over 4 years ago as a first year apprentice, today however he stands as a fully qualified electrician. Etching his name onto our honours board!
It’s never easy undertaking a mature apprenticeship, but you took those challenges in your stride and today you join the Ranks as a qualified Electrician.
Now you get to instil those values and skills on the next crop of apprentices.

Project Spotlight | Phat Chicken 🍗

From an empty tenancy to a fully operational hospitality venue, Elite-PEM delivered the complete electrical installation for this Phat Chicken fit-out.

Our scope included:
⚡ Main switchboard and distribution systems
⚡ General power and lighting installations
⚡ Feature and decorative lighting
⚡ Emergency and exit lighting
⚡ Data, communications and CCTV infrastructure
⚡ Kitchen and equipment power supplies
⚡ Testing, commissioning and compliance certification

Hospitality fit-outs demand careful coordination, tight timeframes and a strong focus on reliability. It's great to see another project successfully completed and serving customers.

A big thank you to everyone involved in bringing this venue to life.

⚡ Another defect repaired and made safe today.

This property had a damaged and burnt-out set of barge/service fuses along with an ageing Point of Attachment that was no longer in great condition.

Signs of overheating like this can lead to intermittent supply issues, voltage drop, nuisance outages, and in worst-case scenarios, a serious fire risk.

The job involved:
✔ Upgrading the Point of Attachment (POA)
✔ Replacing damaged barge/service fuses
✔ Inspecting and securing the incoming consumer mains and connections
✔ Ensuring the installation was safe, compliant, and ready for reliable service again

If you’ve received an Ausgrid defect notice, have concerns about your Point of Attachment, switchboard, consumer mains, or have noticed flickering lights, burning smells, loose connections, or any other electrical issues — don’t leave it too late.

Getting defects repaired early can help avoid major damage, power loss, or safety hazards.
