Chris Johnstone - Company Director

In 2019, CAJ Technology Pty Ltd was founded by Chris, who has dedicated himself to supporting customers, consumers, and businesses in the electrical industry throughout regional Victoria and New South Wales. After moving to Yarrawonga in 2023, his main goal is to offer outstanding service and creative electrical solutions tailored to the unique needs of our esteemed clients.
Having accumulated more than two decades of electrical expertise, specializing in the industrial sector, Chris possesses the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfill all your electrical needs.
A dedicated father of two, Chris started his career in Shepparton as a second-generation electrician. He embarked on his electrical apprenticeship at the age of 17, demonstrating his passion and drive as a professional.
Chris successfully completed his electrical apprenticeship in 2005 and has since gained extensive experience in various sectors of the electrical industry:
✔ 2 years - Industrial Maintenance Electrician
On site at GrainCorp Oilseeds Numurkah. Oil refienery, Ex. and hazardous area rated plant equipment, maintaining solvent and expeller processing plants.
✔ 9 years - Industrial Maintenance Electrician
On site at Bega Tatura. Milk processing, powder packaging and liquids plant. In addition to cheese plant high speed packaing machines.
✔ 4 years - Electrical Wholesale Representative
Initially counter sales, purchasing and eventually sales represetative for both Rexel and Middendorp electrical wholesalers... having gained a vast knowledge of electrical products.
✔ 2 years - Business Development Representative
NHP Electrical Engineering Products, experienced in sales and hardware support... specifically for Rockwell - Allen Bradley PLC based control systems.
✔ 6 years - Commerical & Domestic Electrician
4 years industrial and commercial installation experience, carried out over Chris's apprenticeship. Followed by 2 years Domestic and Residential electrical installation experience, from new homes & renovations to larger commercial warehouses and shop fronts.
For the last two decades, Chris has cultivated relationships with clients and colleagues within the electrical industry, shifting his focus towards industrial control and automation...
