We’ve Been Busy!

While we haven’t been as active on social media, there’s a good reason for it.

Our teams have expanded, not just within the SEQ region, but also into regional Queensland areas like Cairns, Townsville, Emerald, Rockhampton, Mackay, and beyond.

As the wet season approaches in North Queensland, we demobilise with our heads held high, proud of our achievements. Our teams look forward to spending quality time with their families until 2025 (and supporting our SEQ teams 😊).

In SEQ, we’ve been particularly busy with several key energy, water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects.

Our background teams are hitting milestones and we’ve secured some exciting opportunities that will carry us into 2025.

Allstar Infrastructure is currently hiring for various positions related to ongoing civil works in the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Regions, Queensland. If you’re seeking employment in this field, consider the following opportunities:

Formworkers (FRP):

- We are looking for formworkers experienced in pit building, structural walls, columns and conventional slabs.
- Positions are available in both the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane metro regions.

Excavator Operators:

- Your tasks will involve trenching, excavation of pits & bulk earthworks within brownfield environments using tracked excavators ranging from 5 tons to 25 tons.
- We are seeking individuals with experience in laying water, sewer and electrical pipelines.

Skilled Civil Labourers:

- Candidates with 4 to 5 years of experience in civil and construction labor are welcome to apply.
- A diverse skillset and flexibility to work across various tasks are highly valued.
- If you have an HR license and relevant expertise, we encourage you to apply.

Vacuum Excavator Operators:

- Take ownership of one of our 6000-liter vacuum excavator operators.
- Candidates with 2 years plus experience or if you hold a HR license, we have an opportunity for training into the role as an offsider.

Additionally, there’s an Office Manager Role available:

- Office support is required to manage the day-to-day operations of our business.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
- The office is based in Tingalpa, Brisbane.
- Interviews will be held between 8th and 10th of May.

Allstar Infrastructure have completed their first project within a local live HV Substation. This is the highest risk environment we’ve undertaken in a project to date.

The scope included concrete structures for a HV Transformer, piled concrete footings, underground services, install and structural steel er****on in a live HV brownfield site.

There were many design challenges on this project where collaboration & detailed planning with the with Client resulted in successful delivery within project timeframes.

Thank you to the crews involved, this was a new challenge for the team where they well and truly exceeded expectations.

Allstar Infrastructure are hiring for the following positions for on-going civil works in Regional QLD.

Excavator Operators- experience required in bulk earthworks cut and fill, trenching and excavation of pits in tracked excavators ranging in size from 5t to 14t.

Formwork, reinforcement and concreter allrounders. Experience in building using conventional formwork and formwork shutters would be an advantage.

Roster- 3 weeks on, 1 week off
Accommodation supplied

Allstar Infrastructure is pleased to be a contractor involved in the upgrade to Bangalow School in NSW.

The redevelopment of the Bangalow school will provide new and improved education facilities for students.

When completed, the upgraded school will incorporate eight new permanent teaching and learning spaces, refurbishment of spaces, internal refurbishment of the heritage building, and a conversion of two existing teaching spaces to create a new library.

One of the great things about the Industry is that our projects take us to some beautiful parts of .

The Allstar Infrastructure team recently completed a Crane Rail Extension slab as part of maintenance works currently being undertaken at Coolmunda Dam, East of Inglewood.
