This pizza shop counter called for a playful finish and plenty of precision behind the scenes.

Getting the curve right is one thing. Keeping the checker pattern consistent as it follows that curve adds another challenge.

Working with laminate sheet over a curved substrate means the radius, joins and pattern alignment all need careful planning. Even small variations can stand out in a repeating design like this.

polytec Rubra Oak Woodmatt and Blonde Oak Woodmatt were paired for a warm, textured take on the classic checkerboard.

Curved cabinetry was one of the most talked-about features on our Home Show stand, and this project shows how beautifully it can work within a finished home.

Wrapping around the dining area, the joinery softens the corner and transforms a functional wall of cabinetry into an architectural feature.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, met the Cabinet Fit team and took a closer look at our display at Home Show Australia🏡

It was great to showcase some of the details we love incorporating into our joinery, from clever storage and integrated features to the finishes and hardware that bring it all together.

Most of all, we loved hearing about so many upcoming renovations and new builds and meeting the people behind them.

And a big thank you to our team for a massive few days at the event but also to those behind the scenes who helped pull it all together.

If you get a chance to stop by, make sure you ask the team about the highly-detailed craftsmanship that is throughout the kitchen. It’s often the things you won’t notice until you know and then you can’t not see it. It’s the things that take a kitchen from good to great.

Our team is highly skilled in detailed and complex joinery, like creating curved doors that look like end panels but are actually a functional part of the room.
