Re-roofing a classic Rockhampton Queenslander. 🏠🔨

There is something special about working on an original Queenslander — and this one is getting the full treatment. New Colorbond corrugated iron from top to bottom, with all the hips, valleys, and ridges that come with these beautifully complex old rooflines.

Scaffolding up, safety rails in place, and the crew has been smashing it out in the Rocky sunshine. Swipe through to see the progress — fresh sheets locked in, flashings going on, and those clean ridge lines coming together nicely.

New project alert. 🏝️🏗️ DJD Roofing is excited to announce we have been awarded the roofing package on the brand new Great Keppel Island Arrivals Plaza and Amenities. What a project to be part of.

This stunning new facility on Woppa (Great Keppel Island) features a unique curved roof design with timber battens and scale-pattern cladding — and our team will be up top making sure it is all locked in tight and built to last in a coastal environment.

It is a privilege to work on landmark community projects like this right here in the Livingstone Shire. We cannot wait to get the crew out on the island and get stuck into it.
