The goats set up in Federal Hinterland overlooking the valley and believe it or not, the old Crocodile Dundee’s old mansion, where he married his wife back in the days….
Unfortunately we couldn’t get the float into this paddock as the ground was too slippery slopey but a marquee and an already standing pen served well as shelter. Fences were already established so this job was quite easy and it helped us a bunch with getting our own house move sorted! Very grateful to the landowners 🍀🌸 they are now considering getting their own goats onto the land 🤗
I am always happy to chat and give advise if people like to go in that direction 😉😉

Why hire a Groovy Goat ?

Goat rental is an easy, safe & effective way to remove fire hazards & get rid of w**ds & other unwanted vegetation on your land. Our grazing service will do all the work for you, meaning we will bring in our own goat herd, set up temporary goat-safe fencing & take care of the goats until the job is done (goat housing, water, minerals, hay if needed)

Why use goats?

- efficient & quite vegetation removal - no harmful herbicides used, saving money and the environment - goats will eat problem w**ds such as pink lantana, crofton w**d, ragw**d and campher laurel - w**d seeds are destroyed in the goats gut & will not spread - goats work well on steep or rough terrain which is inaccessible to machinery & unsafe for people - soil compaction is avoided & grazing & fertilising improves the soil

After assessment of the land, the size, any poisonous plants and accessibility we will agree on a number of goats needed with a daily rental charge between $7 and $10 for each goat.
