A media attack on our business was aired by WIN News Central Queensland last night. I was shocked to watch this news report last night talking about ‘dodgy contractors’ and ‘scams involving unlicensed contractors posing as local contractors’ whilst showing extensive footage clearly showing OUR business name, close up footage of our work vehicles and OUR employees!
All Wayz Concreting Pty Ltd is a FULLY LICENCED and INSURED local Concreting business! (QBCC licence #1244567) We are a genuine local business that has been running in Yeppoon for the last 20 years. We pride ourselves on providing quality construction work and being honest decent people.
I am appalled that Win News has used this footage, taken numerous MONTHS ago without our knowledge or consent on a work site in Yeppoon, clearly showing our business name numerous times and even close up footage of our business truck and logo! This footage was shown while comments of ‘shoddy workers with no respect’ and ‘elderly residents being vulnerable targets’ were aired. I would like to point out there were numerous other work sites along the same road which would have had no business signs visible where some footage could have been taken.
Our business would like a public apology from Win News Central Queensland as I’m sure would the other 2 local businesses also shown in this footage. I would also like to know who approved this at Win News.
There are numerous unlicensed tradies out there - but our business is not one of them! Please look us up on the QBCC website - licence check and if you would like to show your support for our business please share or comment on this post or like our page:

Huge thanks to Brett from Leisure Pools for letting us know about this damaging news report. This is totally unacceptable defamation of our business from Win News Central Queensland. I’m absolutely stunned by this.
Win news were contacted this morning and have since removed this story from their page but we have received no public apology. The story had already been viewed 2,800 times on Facebook alone by 8am this morning. Add to that the thousands of viewers who saw this story. This is appalling Win News Central Queensland.
