“You must be getting all the rain…”
That’s a common comment heard from visitors to Warrick Moore’s farm at Canah, Werris Creek NSW.
We caught up with long-time YLAD Living Soils customer Warrick Moore last week when he stopped by Milgadara to collect YLAD Humus Compost and NTS Foliar Products for the season ahead 🌱
Warrick has been working with YLAD since 2020, and after several dry months, he’s seeing the benefits of the changes he and his family have been making on their country over the past 5–10 years.
One of the most striking observations?
The difference can be seen right along the fence line.
As Warrick explains, they haven’t received more rain than neighbouring properties. Instead, he puts the difference down to building healthier, more resilient country;
🐑 Not overgrazing
🌾 Maintaining good groundcover
🌱 Encouraging biological activity and using biological inputs to get the bugs working for them
As Warrick says, “We’ll keep doing what we’re doing and hope we can see more benefits.”
And that’s what regenerative agriculture is all about - building on what you have, learning from the land and making small, consistent changes that compound over time.
Thank you Warrick for sharing your experience with us. We love seeing what farmers are achieving on the ground. 💚
