Yet another SINSW project during the Xmas/new year school holiday period. This time for one of our local schools Young North Public School. So far we have carried out the library and basketball stadium upgrades from Fluro and halogen to LED. In the next month we look to have the whole school done. Making for better lighting and reduce that ever dreadful electricity bill!!

Our jobs arnt always big and have huge price tags. Sometimes it’s the little things that provide big rewards. Our new customer has been waiting weeks for an electrician to do a few simple jobs. Well we like simple and especially on a Friday arvo. A great little job to wind down the day and roll us into the weekend.

Another golf cart in the bag. Removal of 6x 8v 170ah lead acid deep cycle batteries and install of 2x 48v 30ah lithium purpose built golf cart batteries. All thanks to our mates at Invicta Batteries. After some testing with my own golf cart we have found these batteries are lasting 2 rounds of golf at 100% the whole way round. That’s over 11kms of up and down hills! With 7yrs warranty it’s a great investment to keep you on the course with a reliable golf cart, so you can leave the stress to the bad golf.

They always say if you want a job done properly, do it yourself. However i see it more as leading by example. Photos and posts like these arnt to show staff up but more a tool to learn. They can’t always be in your pocket so pictures come in handy. We take photos of all our jobs and attach them to our invoices just to help customers with what we have done but also to help pushing our memory if something goes wrong or we need to make future improvements or additions.
This job was a new 3 phase connection for an upcoming house here in Young.

Big shout out to our #1 tradesman , Declan! Today while carrying out a job for one of our longtime loyal customers, Declan noticed a bad smell of gas while entering the manhole. While crawling closer to the issue he picked up that the smell was getting stronger. Luckily he made the right call to exit and isolate the gas. He then left it some time and tried to ventilate before entering again to find the issue. He was lucky to find a possible source and advise all parties of the potential issue. His smart thing and quick wits may have eliminated a potential catastrophe. Not only turning off gas but thinking above and turning off power to illiminate potential spark, our customers house may have just been saved from the worst.

Well done mate. Bloody proud of you.

This has been a long time coming. I purchased this system from Powderly's Pumping & Irrigation Services. Its soul purpose was to filter town water that we all known just isn’t that good. However little did I realise it would boost my terrible town pressure from 200 to 450 with the ability to go to 850. It’s bloody amazing. The pump has no drop in pressure with its soft starter feature, cooling fan for the cabinet on those hot days and UV light to keep the bugs away. Hardest part, getting the sparky to run the power to it! 😉

Test drove the NEW New Holland C314 today thanks to South West Tractors and Murray. My god this thing is unreal. It has to be the best mini loader I have ever operated and I’ve tested a few. Probably a tad on the big side for me and what I need it for but I tell you it’s right up the alley of builders, fencers, landscapers and more. It’s built tough and stats are off the charts. If your interested ring my mate Ben at south west and take it for a spin, you won’t be disappointed.

Farms! The men, women and children who bring food from paddock to plate. The hard work, dedication and long hours to earn a living and feed our country with food, fibre and fabrics. Our mate Ralph trusts in us to give him the best so he can give us all the best in stud Rams, wooly sheep, fat lambs and fields of grain, canola and more. His new sheering shed is one of the most impressive I’ve seen. Now it’s better with lighting, power and safety. Thanks Ralph, I think this should do for next few generations!

Gotta love when plumbers play sparky! This bore has been sitting here playing up since day one. Pump wired through the pressure switch and a customer that had a tank constantly going dry as soon as there has been a black out. All is well though, we wired the pressure switch in the control circuit and installed a timer so that the tank will constantly stay full no matter the time or day.
