বাংলাদেশে বিলুপ্তি পাচ্ছে কড়ি বর্গার স্থাপত্যশৈলী।
ছবি তে যে বারান্দা দেখছেন তা সবার ই কম- বেশি চেনা। কিন্তু এই ধরণের স্থাপত্যশৈলী / স্থাপনাকে যে কড়িবর্গা বলে তা অনেকের ই অচেনা অজানা।

ব্রিটিশ শাসন আমলে কাঠ,ইস্পাত,লোহার ব্যবহার ছিল ব্যাপক। দৈর্ঘ্যে বড় কাঠ/ইস্পাতে র অংশটি কে বলা হতো কড়ি ছোট অংশকে বলা হতো বর্গা / বরগা।

বারান্দার ছাদের নিচে কাঠ/ লোহার দন্ড যা তীরের উপর থেকে ছাদের ভর কে রক্ষা করে।

কড়ি বর্গার মত আরেকটি স্থাপত্যশৈলী ও বিলুপ্ত হচ্ছে টালি বর্গা। পোড়ামাটির টালির ঘর গুলো একসময় খুব জনপ্রিয় ছিল। গ্রাম বাংলার এই পুরান স্থাপনাগুলো দিন কে দিন বিলুপ্তি পাচ্ছে।
