Shadow and light in architecture
Architecture is the planning , design and construction process and work of building and other real structures . Architecture serves as the main element of the building , which is perceived as a cultural symbol and work of art . Historical civilization almost reveals architectural achievements.
Architecture" can mean:
General terms for buildings and other real structures.
It is the art and science of building and other structures.
It is the construction style and construction technique of buildings and other structures.
It is industry, science, technology.
It is the practice of architecture, where architecture means professional service, which involves the design, construction and construction environment of the building.
This is the architectural design activity. From the macro-level ( urban design , landscape architecture ) to the micro-level (construction details and furniture).
In architecture, design and structural shapes, space and environmental functional reflections, technical, social and aesthetic considerations have to be taken into consideration. This requires creative handicrafts, a combination of materials, technology and light and shadow. Often, this must address conflicting needs. Determines practical or state aspects including architectural practices, scheduling of buildings and structures, estimated costs, construction administration. The documentation created by the architect defines the behavior, structure, diagrams, plans and technical details of the building and other things.
Shadow
A shadow is a dark (real image) area where light is blocked by a light source from an opaque object that occupies all of the three-dimensional volume behind an object illuminated in front of it. The cross - sectional shadow is a two- dimensional silhouette , or reverse projection light blocked object.
