A bright and inspiring space where children feel happy to come and learn every day. The bold and expressive structural members create drama among solid, void, existence, absence, expression. The structural members talk and grow connection with the user group and passerby. They establish a statement to go beyond the walls. The building is open, breathable, and full of natural light with green open spaces.

"Shangri La" is more than just a house, it’s a peaceful place where nature and architecture come together beautifully. This 2.5-story home, about 5,000 sqft in size, is designed to make you feel calm and connected to the world around you.

Fresh air flows through the space, and soft light fills every corner, creating a soothing and peaceful vibe. As you move through the different levels, each step reveals something new , a fresh view or a quiet moment.

A small, hidden swimming pool offers a perfect spot to relax and reflect. What makes "Shangri La" special is how it lifts your spirit. It’s not just a home, it’s a place that helps you feel more alive and in touch with nature and yourself.

Project Title: Diabari Primary School, Uttara, Dhaka
Client: Ministry of Primary and Mass Education

Diabari Primary School is situated right next to the Dhaka Intl. Airport. The major concern for us was to design a learning environment considering the noise pollution. We decided to use plants with thick and broader leaves, curtain Ivy and types of palm to reduce the impact of aircraft noise. We also provided the policies regarding the maintenance of the plants and the building.

Charles Correa was an architect, an urban planner, an activist and a theoretician.
He transfered the most complex urban functions into exciting, modern forms. For over half a century, Charles Correa managed to create buildings with an universal quality. Architect David Adjaye has described him as "a great man and an amazing person". He was named "India's greatest architect" the same year, when he was awarded the Royal Gold Medal by the Royal Institute of British Architects.
