Although the terms 'green roof' and 'rooftop landscaping' sound similar, architects draw a difference. A green roof is where plants and even trees are planted on the rooftop on a bed of soil, thus giving it a landscape-like form, unlike a random layout of portable pots

Simplified Design applied with a simplified slogan "HEALTH SIMPLIFIED" of THYROCARE Branch in Sylhet. Good Health is the biggest gift of God and bringing nature inside the interior space works as a source of good health through mental peace. The material selection and the design are technically merged with the existing brick partition for less maintenance with a wider feeling for the user.

Location: Hatirjheel
Design Team: Ar. Sabbir Ahmed, Ar. Shefat Nowreen and Ar. Mahbub Rabbani.
Year of Completion: 2019.

Brief: The building(MY TV) situated at hatirjheel and consist of two layers of roof where the first(lower layer) was open to sky and used for stage program. Later the designed temporary steel roof including front glass louvered screen protects the space for program from all kind of bad weather and maximize the use of the space to a multipurpose use. The design structure has been followed, inspected and successfully constructed by MY TV authorities.
