Architecture has always been the response of its context. Often designing the built reality gets guided by visual preference in many of the contemporary practices. At ARA, we beg to differ. It is not to deny the aspect of beauty, which is also an essential part in the realm of architectural grandeur.

The following photos document the process ARA approaches to design, starting from hand-built physical models to three-dimensional renders. While the digital tools take those same concepts to formulate the greater detail and the project’s presentation. Large scaled partial models were also made to explore and test the project’s concepts in actual scale and its material understanding.
Neither one takes the place of the other; both are essential to the practice's success.
