Sharing our competition entry for the Re-development of Dhaka Club Limited!

The reimagining of the Dhaka Club is an architectural intervention that seeks to balance its 120-year heritage with contemporary functional needs by creating a "journey through time".

The design concept centers on salvaging construction materials from the original central structure to build a new threshold portal, allowing visitors to connect directly with the institution's history. This new structure utilizes a thick-walled colonnaded system and an abstracted, neutral crowning element to establish a landmark presence while providing large, column-free internal spaces.

A harmonious blend of elegance & industry, this 2500 sqft office space was designed to house two distinct entities - one in real estate and the other one in the EV sector. The challenge was to create an environment that reflects the luxurious, refined aesthetics of real estate while embracing the industrial, mechanical essence of the EV industry.
