The residence is located in the northern part of Bangladesh with surrounding landscape of paddy and crop fields. Ponds, household animals, vegetable gardens are the features that surrounds the residential compound and courtyard. We have chosen simple planning approach which can complement the easy going lifestyle of the dwellers and the surroundings. In terms of structure we choose RCC to provide better strength and durability with locally made brick screen walls and steel roof which can be easily merged with the surrounding residential roof pattern. The residence is the primary part of the total master plan which includes a pond with surrounding trees of seasonal fruits, shelter for household animals, vegetable garden, a front yard and parking facilities. We can say the house is facilitated with modern amenities to meet the demand of time and also comprehending existing living pattern of the dwellers and neighborhood.

আদিকাল থেকে মানুষের সংগ্রাম আশ্রয়ের।মানুষের সকল কর্মকান্ডের পিছনে অন্যতম উদ্দেশ্য মানুষ নিজের আশ্রয় নিরাপদ,সুরক্ষিত,সুন্দর ও নিশ্চিত করতে চায়। এই আশ্রয়কেই আমরা বলি ঘর/বাড়ি/গৃহ।
এই আশ্রয় গড়তে শ্রম লাগে, স্বপ্ন লাগে আর প্রয়োজন সময়।এখানে ছিল খালি জায়গা, এখন হয়েছে তিন প্রজন্মের স্বপ্নের বাড়ি।এই চার দেয়ালের ভিতরে খেলা করবে আবেগ,হাসি আনন্দ, সুখ দুঃখ, না পাওয়া আরও কত কি! ....... পুকুরে ফটিকছড়ি প্রোজেক্টকর প্রতিবিম্ব দেখতে দেখতে ,এসব ভাবনা আসছিল ।
