(New images) A shared landscape to live and meet: Cirk is now complete.
What was once a cluster of existing buildings has become a small residential ecosystem: 16 homes, 5 assisted living studios, a neighbourhood house and coworking space, all organised around a collective garden.
Three renovated buildings and two new volumes form a clear but layered composition, bringing together a wide mix of housing types — from compact studios to family homes.
At the centre: landscape. An orchard, swimming pond and shared gardens define the rhythm of everyday life. Private terraces extend each home, while collective spaces support everything in between: from working and gardening to hosting, repairing or simply being together.
A car-free site allows the landscape to take the lead. Mobility, parking and storage are absorbed quietly into the edges and underground.
The existing buildings were preserved and upgraded. The new volumes sit alongside them as a contemporary echo — distinct, but part of the same family.
