If you own a Segway G3 or F3 and you’re adding the new external battery, there’s something you need to know.

🔋 Adding the external battery increases the total weight of your step.

In Belgium, for a step to benefit from the insurance exemption, it must not exceed 25 kg — battery included — and must have a maximum construction speed of 25 km/h.

➡️ If your Segway exceeds 25 kg, you need a mandatory RC motor vehicle insurance.

So before you hit the road with your new external battery, don’t forget to check your insurance! 🇧🇪

We’re sharing this because we want our customers to enjoy their Segway safely and legally.
