Welcoming marketing students from .be! 🎓

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting marketing students from Thomas More at Sidec. They joined a presentation where CEO Yves Jonckers, Sales Manager Carina, and Marketing Manager Ronny shared our vision on sales and marketing and explained our commercial strategy.

The session focused on translating theory into practice: how we position ourselves in the market, respond to customer needs, and differentiate from competitors.

Afterwards, the students enjoyed a guided tour of our R&D lab, warehouses, and Sidec Academy, gaining firsthand insight into our operations.

A big thank you to all students and their lecturer for their visit!

Teambuilding time! 💪🎉

We traded our daily tasks for a day of adventure at in the heart of the Kempen! From carpooling together to tackling challenges we’ve truly never done before, the Sidec team gave it their all.

In the morning, we were split into 8 random groups for a "no-limits" game: fishing ducks with iron rods, memory puzzles, ball balancing, sack races, transferring water through old pipes... Every challenge tested our creativity, teamwork, and laughter.

After a well-deserved lunch, 8 new teams tackled the battle of "the brainiest team", combining orientation, problem-solving, and hands-on challenges. The winners proudly received their award. 🏆🧠

It was an incredible day filled with laughter, teamwork, and great memories we’ll cherish.

The Easter Bunny made a special stop to surprise our team with some well-deserved treats for all the hard work they put in every day. A small gesture, but a great reminder of the amazing people who give their best to support our clients and partners.

Deze week vieren we niet alleen Kerstmis, maar staan we ook even stil bij het pensioen van onze Purchase & Pricing Coördinator, Martin. De laatste jaren van zijn carrière wijdde hij aan Sidec. Nu gaat hij het nieuwe jaar in met nieuwe vooruitzichten en hopelijk een mooie terugblik op een lange en fijne loopbaan. Proficiat, Martin! 🎉

Nu het jaar bijna voorbij is, willen we u graag bedanken voor het vertrouwen en de mooie projecten die we samen hebben gerealiseerd.

Tijdens de feestdagen passen we onze werking lichtjes aan:
- Afhalingen blijven mogelijk t/m maandag 22 december
- Op dinsdag 23 & woensdag 24 december zijn we omwille van onze jaarlijkse inventaris enkel telefonisch bereikbaar. Op woensdag 24 december zijn we bereikbaar tot 12u.
- Van donderdag 25 december t/m vrijdag 2 januari is Sidec gesloten.

Vanaf maandag 5 januari 2026 staan we weer volledig paraat!
