Build on what is already there.

For TINC+ in Lier, we explored how an existing school building can become the foundation for a new learning environment.
Rather than replacing its robust concrete structure, the design works with what is already there. Selective interventions bring in daylight, flexibility and new connections, while a new circulation layer opens the building towards its surroundings.

Less replacement. More possibilities.

EINPULS brings mainstream and special secondary education together on one shared campus in Oostakker.

A compact radial plan creates clear routes, quiet spaces and flexible learning environments for different ways of learning — from group work and co-teaching to individual learning.
Because architecture does not define how children learn. It can create the conditions for learning to feel possible, safe and shared.
