What started as a simple idea grew into a unique piece of art that connects people, cultures and creativity across continents.

This project began with the construction of a brick bench, but it soon became much more than just a place to sit. During a workshop in Düsseldorf, Dutch artist Timothy Van Oorschot worked closely with students from and our design team to transform the theme of Noah’s Ark into a collaborative artwork on paper, creating the drawings for a 5-meter-long brick bench located in the entrance area.

The bench was then built in Cochabamba by local craftspeople. The drawings were brought to life by the talented kuska Ladys, who transformed them into a beautiful mosaic and applied each piece by hand with remarkable craftsmanship.

The result is a unique artwork that combines design, storytelling, craftsmanship, and international collaboration.
