Today we pause to honor and remember our brother and teammate, Roscoe Saunders Kemp.

Roscoe was more than a member of Spartan Builders — he embodied the spirit of what it means to be Spartan. A true giant within the Eight Mile Rock and Grand Bahama community, he gave his time generously through teaching, mentoring, coaching youth baseball, and service organizations, always investing in the next generation.

His character, wisdom, and steady presence left a lasting mark on our company and on countless lives beyond it. Roscoe’s legacy will continue to guide how we work, how we serve, and how we treat one another.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.

Team Spartan was proud to attend the IBS Show 2026 in Orlando, Florida!

Representing the team were General Manager d’Sean Smith, Office Manager Cardra Smith, and Site Superintendent Andon Duncombe. The event provided an incredible opportunity to connect directly with many of the vendors and manufacturers we work with daily, while also exploring the next wave of emerging construction technologies shaping our industry.

From innovative building materials to advanced project solutions, it was exciting to see firsthand how the future of construction is evolving — and how Spartan continues to position itself at the forefront.
