​THE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY OF THE BAHAMAS (HSB) was formed in September 1983 by the late Sara Bardelmeir who brought together a group of gardening enthusiastic who weinterested in sharing their knowledge with membership of approximately 80 persons.
