Tau Grading and Building Construction (PTY) LTD management joined multitudes of mourners in Maun to bid farewell to one of the company’s founding members, Mr. Ntshemang Gaboekae.

In attendance were director Mr. Rudy Lemcke and Mrs. Lemcke, managing director Mr. John Motsumi, and our Maun representative, Mr. Othata Masedi.

Mr. Gaboekae will forever be remembered for his humility, loving nature, and gentle spirit. His contribution to the company and the lives he touched will remain deeply cherished.

Ntshemang laid to rest

Tau Grading and Building Construction (PTY) LTD mourns the passing of one of its founding members, Mr. Ntshemang Gaboekae. We join the people of Maun and countless friends and colleagues in celebrating a life defined by humility, kindness, and quiet strength.

Our director Mr. Rudy Lemcke and wife Mrs. Lemcke and Managing Director John Motsumi are present to pay their final respect to the family.

Mr. Gaboekae helped shape our company from its earliest days. Alongside Mr. Ramathodi and Mr. Rudy Lemcke, he brought a shared passion for livestock and hard work that became the foundation of our firm in the late 1990s. Though paths changed over time — and Mr. Lemcke later acquired their interests — the bond between them endured, rooted in friendship and mutual respect.

To everyone who knew him, Mr. Gaboekae was the embodiment of a gentle spirit: generous with his time, modest in success, and steadfast in loyalty. His contributions to Tau Grading and Building Construction were more than business achievements; they were examples of character that shaped our culture and inspired colleagues across generations.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and to all who were touched by his life. His memory will live on in the work we do, the relationships we cherish, and the quiet example he set every day.

TG Mourns Founding Member

Tau Grading and Building Construction (Pty) Ltd pays tribute to its founding member, the late Mr. Ntshemang Gaboekae.

The Managing Director, Mr. John Motsumi, visited the Gaboekae family home to convey heartfelt condolences on behalf of Mr. Rudy Lemcke, who mourns the loss of a dear friend and valued colleague.

Mr. Gaboekae will be laid to rest tomorrow in his home village of Maun, where Mr. Lemcke is also expected to attend the burial and pay his final respects.

We honour his legacy, his contribution to the company, and the indelible mark he left on everyone privileged to have known him.

Tau Grading and Building Construction (PTY) LTD, in collaboration with consulting engineers Bothakga Burrow, today hosted the Assistant Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Honourable Keoagile Atamelang, for an official site visit of the New Xade Junction to New Xade Road Project.

The purpose of the visit was to provide the Honourable Minister with a first-hand overview of the project’s progress, key milestones achieved to date, and the challenges encountered during implementation.

The Assistant Minister was accompanied by the Acting Permanent Secretary, the Acting Director of Roads, district leadership, and other officials from the Ministry. The delegation engaged with the project team on-site, reaffirming the government’s commitment to infrastructure development and improved road connectivity in the region.

Tau Grading partners with government in the fight against Foot and Mouth disease.

Tau Grading has partnered with the Ministry of Lands and Agriculture to strengthen efforts against the ongoing foot-and-mouth disease outbreak.
As part of its support, the company has provided a front-end loader to assist in the establishment of containment zones aimed at limiting the spread of the disease.

In addition, Tau Grading donated groceries valued at P15,000 to support affected communities. The donation was officially handed over to the Assistant Minister of Lands and Agriculture, Mr. Motsamai Motsamai, by Tau Grading Chief Executive Officer Mr. Hugo Lemcke, accompanied by General Manager Mr. John Motsumi.

The initiative highlights Tau Grading’s strong ties and deep-rooted commitment to Botswana’s farming community during a critical time.
