This season also marks the breeding period for impalas. During this time, males engage in fierce competition to establish dominance and secure mates, often resulting in dramatic displays of strength and agility. The plentiful resources ensure that females have the necessary nutrients to support their pregnancies and raise their young. Young impalas, born at the end of the rainy season, benefit from the lush environment as they take their first steps into the wild.
