Creating more space doesn’t always mean starting from scratch.​

This poultry barn expansion requires a unique approach to create more space for the birds. We’re lifting the existing roof, removing the original 12’ walls, installing new 23’ prefabricated walls, and then carefully reinstalling the roof system. To support the increased height and structural loads, we’re also forming and pouring large concrete buttress walls.​

Projects like this require detailed planning, engineering, and precise ex*****on. It’s not the type of build we encounter every day, but tackling unique structural challenges and developing practical solutions is one of the most rewarding parts of construction.

Breaking ground is one of the most exciting milestones in a project, where months of planning and preparation begin taking physical shape.

This week, we broke ground on the Delta Garden Suite project. This backyard suite will transform the property into multigenerational living.
 
While this often feels like the beginning of a project, a tremendous amount of work has already happened behind the scenes. From design development and budgeting to permitting and coordination, many important details have already been planned before construction begins.
 
Now the vision starts coming to life on site, and we’re looking forward to sharing the journey as the project progresses.

Living better often comes down to creating spaces that simply feel good to be in.​

This penthouse renovation at Mill Lake was designed to feel open, warm, and easy to live in. Inspired by the feel of a New York loft, the goal was to create a space that felt modern and elevated while still being comfortable and personal. Much of the focus went into improving flow, bringing in natural light, and creating spaces that were built for everyday living and entertaining.​

​One memorable challenge was getting the oversized island countertop into the suite. It wouldn’t fit in the elevator, and we didn’t want to compromise the design with a seam. Instead, we arranged to have it craned up in one solid piece and it was definitely worth it in the end.​

This week, our team spent time refreshing and reorganizing the office. To keep operations running smoothly, it’s important to keep tools, materials, samples, and systems organized — both in the office and out on site.​

Preparation, clear systems, and staying organized are a big part of what construction comes down to. We place a strong emphasis on having a thoughtful, linear process
throughout our projects, so it only makes sense to approach our workspace the same way.​

Materials truly shape the feeling of a home.

For this timeless sanctuary renovation, every detail was chosen to create a space rich in warmth, character, and comfort, a home designed to feel both elevated and deeply personal.

Grounded in natural materials, the design featured reclaimed wood, hand-selected stone, and a palette of earthy tones layered with warm whites to create softness and depth throughout the space.

Aged brass and antiqued finishes introduced a sense of history, while handcrafted details and custom elements brought a bespoke quality that made the home feel collected over time rather than simply finished.
