We are truly humbled by the incredible response to the Veterans Crosswalk in Ladner.

On behalf of everyone at Sutton Road Marking Ltd., I want to sincerely thank the Corporation of Delta, the Ladner Legion, and our community for the overwhelming support and the many kind comments.

It was a privilege to be selected to complete this meaningful project. While road marking is what we do every day, opportunities like this remind us that our work can become something much more than lines and symbols on a roadway. This crosswalk stands as a tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women who have defended our country and our freedoms.

As someone whose own father proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War, projects that honour our veterans have a very personal meaning to me. Seeing the community embrace this crosswalk and reading your heartfelt comments has been incredibly rewarding.

We are also honoured to share that our next Veterans Crosswalk project will be in North Delta, where we will once again have the privilege of helping recognize those who have served our country. We look forward to sharing that journey with you and continuing to support initiatives that honour our veterans and strengthen our communities.

Thank you again to the City of Delta, the Ladner Legion, and everyone who has taken the time to share your support. Your encouragement means a great deal to all of us at Sutton Road Marking.
