What a great day connecting with professionals in the tile and stone industry! πŸ‘

Today, I completed my CCTI (Certified Ceramic Tile Installer) assessment with TTMAC , hosted at the Schluter-Systems North America facility in Surrey, BC.

The installation may look straightforward, but achieving the right results definitely takes skill, precision, and experience. πŸ’ͺ

A big thank you to everyone involved for a great day of learning, networking, and sharing knowledge!

Part - 3
There’s more to tile and stone installation than just setting tile. Understanding industry standards, installation details, and technical requirements is what separates good work from professional craftsmanship.

In this video, I’m going through important details and codes from the TTMAC Tile & Stone Installation Manual and explaining why understanding these standards matters on the job site.

πŸ“š PART 2: Why Every Tile Installer Should Know the TTMAC Technical Manual! πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Tile installation is more than just laying tile β€” it’s about understanding the standards, preparing the substrate correctly, choosing the right installation methods, and solving problems before they happen.

The TTMAC (Terrazzo, Tile and Marble Association of Canada) Technical Manual is an important resource for understanding professional tile installation practices and industry standards.

As tile installers, we should never stop learning. The more we understand, the better our workmanship and the more confidence we bring to every project.
