Another boxwood full of caterpillars. We have seen 3 this week with caterpillars and probably ripped out about 20-30 of them this year.

I wouldnt recommend replacing them with new boxwoods but hicks yews and berri magic hollys seem to be a good replacement for most uses.

On the plus side I have seen people claiming the birds are starting to learn about the caterpillars and are now eating them.

Removed the rotted wood walls, all the plants, replaced the soil. Built new walls out of brussels dimensional, a interlock sitting area along the house and some fresh mulch.
