The details you barely notice are often the ones doing the most work.

A curve solved. A bond offset. A threshold made to belong.

Start at the curb. Finish at the door.

Sometimes you have to strip it back first.

Final reveal tomorrow.

One wrong move and that’s a $1,000 mistake.

No marks. No measuring. Cut, check, scribe and fit.

You can’t be competitive in 2026 running every cut back to a table saw. Production cutting is about speed and precision working together. The less time wasted getting there, the more time you have to put into the details that actually matter.

Fast doesn’t mean rushed. It means practiced.

One piece. One chance to get the detail right.

A little stone dressing by hand. This product doesn’t always leave us the room to finish the threshold this way, but every once in a while the conditions line up.

A small detail, but a good one.

Another Tuesday in the Sandbox. 👷‍♂️

This one started with an old entrance that had run its course.

Dig out, prep, natural stone overlay, grout and the finishing touches. A lot happens between the before and after.

Another front entrance redefined.

Some details take years to figure out.

Cutting around the pipe is one thing. Getting the border, corner and inner band to flow naturally around it is another.

I spent a better part of my career figuring out how to finish details like this without making them look forced.

When it’s right, it should look like it was always supposed to be that way.

The difference is in the details. 👀

Border by border. Corner by corner. Getting the fitment right before we show you where it all ended up.

Final reveal next.

A little preview of what’s taking shape.

From the first day on site to the plan behind it, this one’s officially underway.

More to come.

Nice moves...

Spend enough years in a trade and you develop your own way of doing things. Small techniques and habits refined through thousands of repetitions until they simply become part of how you work.

Then one day, you look across the jobsite and realize you're not the only one doing them anymore.

Pretty cool moment to catch on camera.

Nobody plans on digging up their driveway.

But when a sewer main repair forced this five-year-old interlock driveway to be opened up, the pavement gave us something most finished surfaces can’t! An opportunity to put it back together.

The original material was recovered, the repair area reconstructed, and the driveway reconstituted into the existing pavement.

Alongside it sits an 11-year-old walkway we originally built and still doing its job.

This is one of the reasons we continue to advocate for interlock as a long term pavement system.

Built to be rebuilt.
