Happy Friday! BL and our potties have been brought to “new heights”on this job site. Thanks to our guy Chris to taking this picture and wondering how he was going to service it!

Our guy Jeff Wadden took a little time out of his busy schedule to rescue a seagull while he was unloading today at the Pictou Country solid waste facility. He took this fella over to the scale house and he’s off to Hope for Wildlife for a little rehab and physio. Well done Jeff.

From our friends at OASIS.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 - 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦

A septic system isn't "just a tank in the ground." It's the result of many professionals working together to protect your family's health, your property, and the environment.

From the manufacturer who builds the tank, to the designer who evaluates your property, the installer who follows detailed construction requirements, the inspector who verifies the work, and the maintenance professional who keeps it operating safely—every step matters. As the homeowner, you're the final link in that chain by maintaining and monitoring your system.

The Ontario Building Code isn't full of requirements just to make installation more complicated. Every specification—from tank placement and soil evaluation to secure lids and safety screens—exists for one reason: to protect human health and prevent tragedies.

When every professional follows the Code, and every homeowner does their part, septic systems remain safe, reliable, and effective for years to come.

Remember: Every requirement has a purpose. Every step protects someone.

𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

Protect what matters most. Choose qualified professionals, maintain your system regularly, and never overlook the safety features that help keep your family and community safe.

Did you know this is Septic awareness week in Canada ? Often times many home owners forget the importance of a properly functioning and maintained system.
