Happening NEXT week, this field day shares one of BC's OFCAF Demonstration Sites, where Rick Tegart of Chinook Meadow Ranch seeded three different cover crops to assess which is best to support his rotational grazing system, while supporting soil health and pasture renovation goals.

We will look at three treatment, discuss harvest options (bale vs graze 🤔), pasture renovation considerations, as well as rotational grazing principles and how virtual fencing supports Rick's adaptive grazing system.

There’s no substitute for seeing a ranch in person. 🤠🌾

We recently spent the day near **Lethbridge, Alberta**, walking this incredible property, exploring the coulees overlooking the Oldman River, and evaluating whether **Gallagher eShepherd virtual fencing** would work here.

We had such a great time doing a presentation to the North Peace Applied Research Association on virtual fencing, the pro's / con's and success stories of using virtual fencing to manage livestock.. Lots of great conversations were had, and we were so lucky to have Jordy and Leanne from Thibeault Ranch in Cranbrook share about their experiences.
