Sooooooooooooo..........today's work party went off without a hitch. I wish once again extend my heartfelt thank you's to the participants - Doug, Ron, Miriam, Carmen, Rob, Dani and Jim. To quote - "Many hands made for light work..." In addition to the planned clean-up, the new smoke detectors have been installed, that'll help everyone if need be........

So.....about our planned work party. Looking to have it on Saturday for around 10:30 or so I think, with a possibility of continuing into Sunday. Please spread the word to thise who don't follow FB, but who might want to help.

This is a general call for volunteers to help clean out the Legion shed and empty the storage room.

This a preparatory step for an overdue Fire Inspection by the County.

Am planning for Saturday or Sunday next weekend. Please comment a yes or no if you're able to help out. If you know of anyone who wants to help but isn't on FB, let me know as well.

Hey everyone.....yeah it has been a bit, but the poster has been busy. Anyway, just a reminder to everyone that our Games night is still on for tonight and tomorrow night. You don't have play any games, just come out and socialize...and YES....the bar is open. And as a change for future planning, our Games nights for the summer will continue but only on Fridays starting in June through September, plus our potluck dinners will also continue but only for June 24 and August 26.

Hey everyone.....just a reminder about our upcoming games nights tomorrow and Saturday.

Although Saturday is a "games" night, we are especially looking for darts players and enthusiasts, so warm up your arms and wrists for the evening.

Remember, you do not have to play any games at all if you don't want to - come out and socialize, catch up on all the latest.....

Also a reminder that guests are seriously invited, and if you of someone or a group, that may be interested in the Legion and what it does - by all means...please invite them to come and see, check us out!!!

Just a reminder for everyone of our monthly meeting tonight. Also tonight, we're planning on having a final vote on our Bylaws - yes after much angst and (whatnot), we appear to have come to an point where EVERYBODY seems to agree on the wording. You will also be pleased to know that apparently because of this particular (battle), we were asked to upgrade the template provided by Command.

Congrats and thank you to everyone for your patience over this.

Hey everyone. So last night was a tad slow blame it on the weather, but for those there, we had fun.

Just a reminder that our next meeting is coming up this Wednesday the 1st of March, so hope to see you all there.

And coming up on the weekend following are a couple of days of fun. Friday night is our usual Games Night starting at 6:30pm, and Saturday is going to be another Games Night at 6:30pm, but we're hoping to have a start at putting together a Darts team, so if darts are your thing, bring along your best throwing hand and wrist!!!!

Soooooooo...............last night we had our February/Valentine's Day Potluck Dinner...and our first Dance Night. Huge KUDOS to Jim Ingram, and his daughter and son-in-law for supplying the music. It was a smaller than normal crowd though, but music playing in the background made the evening last much longer, I think. We're hoping that the next Dinner and Dance night on May 27 will have a much bigger crowd, and the dancing part will get to hopping!!!

Our next Potluck dinner is scheduled for March 18, and as always doors and drinks open for 5:30 and dinner starts at 6:30...see you ALL there.

And we asking everyone to spread the word.....not everyone has Facebook, or reads the local newsletter. Let's let EVERYONE know...and lets get everyone out!!!
