Vision Electric Limited is currently hiring a Bookkeeper to join our team in our new office, located on Rocky Lake Dr.

This position can commence as early as February once renovations are complete, with an average of 40 hours per week offering a competitive wage.
About Our Opportunity: Reporting to the General Manager, the Bookkeeper will complete accurate and up to date financial statements. The successful applicant will be working in a dynamic, team-oriented, and supportive office environment. Experience using QuickBooks Online and Microsoft 365 is required.

Position Responsibilities
Here’s what your day-to-day looks like:
• Primary focused on maintaining accurate financial records, including tracking income and expenses, reconciling bank statements monthly, recording intercompany transactions
• Managing accounts payable accounts
• Entering financial data into QuickBooks Online and preparing financial statements
• Answering the phones while the office administrator is on break or absent
• Assisting with other administrator tasks when staff is out sick, or needs assistance
Skills and Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting, preferably with 10 years experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required
• Proficient in the general use of computers, particularly with Sage, Microsoft Office Suite, and Outlook
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational, and mathematic skills
• Proficient in the general use of computers, particularly with Adobe, Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, and Outlook
• Professionalism, maturity, and judgement and maintaining a professional business appearance
• Abilities to meet deadlines, and time management
• Willingness to learn new things
• Strong work ethic and self-motivated
