We would like to give a BIG thank you to Karen at Cofield Home Inspection for another project! we greatly appreciate it thank you.

We were called in to repair this severely damaged block foundation that had numerous shifting block falling in-wards on two walls, severe bowing & shifting approximately 4-6 inches off the footing & in certain areas almost completely off the footing. No rebar, block cells not filled solid, no block lock, no wall ties have all all contributed to the failure of this block foundation!

This project consisted of the following & is in progress but near completion ✔️ Our masons have completed:

- ✔️ Foundation bowing & damaged/shifting block removed.
- ✔️ Footing repaired in multiple areas.
- ✔️ Galvanized metal rebar installed.
- ✔️ New 8" concrete blocks layed with block lock & wall ties where block meets house framing.
- ✔️ Block cell walls filled solid with concrete.
- ✔️ Parging
- ✔️ top soil & grass seed

Crew #2 is on another 💦Foundation Waterproofing & Parging project🌧️ Never have we came across so many big Boulder's, Rock's, asphalt, concrete, chain link fence, broken shovels & all sorts of debris in a foundation excavation! Nothing we can't handle!
Our masons are in the process of repairing & waterproofing this foundation in Trenton Ontario,
After foundation was fully excavated to footings we discovered cracks all the way to the footings also damaged block in the foundation that we are currently repairing before waterproofing!!!

No project is to Small or to Big for our skilled masons here at Top Notch Masonry & Restoration, We were called in by Brendan at Royal LePage ProAlliance Realty Brokerage

This parging project only consisted of repairing & parging of one exterior foundation wall on this beautiful home in Belleville Ontario!

- All damaged old parging & deterioration was removed & cleaned.
- Bonding agent glue applied to foundation.
- Foundation deterioration repaired.
- Rough coat & good coat of parging applied.
- clean up / top soil & grass seed put down to ensure a clean tidy finish for our customers & clients.

Crew #2 has completed this foundation parging project in Belleville Ontario!

At customers request our masons added charcoal grey cement pigment/dye to the parging mixture to meet our customers desired colour request, we exceeded the home owner & tenants expectations!

We strive to ensure client satisfaction & always provide Top Notch professional quality workmanship.

- Scope of work for our Masons included the following:
- ✅ Foundation deterioration removed & cleaned.
- ✅ New 4 inch concrete block layed using galvanized metal rebar in block cell openings.
- ✅ Galvanized metal lath installed with washers & tap cons.
- ✅ Bonding agent glue applied to foundation.
- ✅ rough coat & good coat parged with pigment/dye added to mixture.
- ✅ entire foundation weather sealed.
- ✅ top soil down.

Restoration overhaul complete ✔️
We were called in to do a complete restoration overhaul on this heritage farm house after previous masons used the incorrect mortar causing further damages to the bricks and cement joints.
We can't stress enough how important it is to use the correct cement when doing any masonry repairs to old clay bricks!
- Our skilled masons scope of work on this project included:
- 2 walls fully grinded out.
- 2 walls tuck-pointed using the correct lime mortar.
- charcoal black pigment dye added to mixture.
- damaged spalling bricks removed and new matched bricks layed.
- old window caulking removed & re-caulked
- old vines growing on the bricks was also removed.

We would like to give a big shout out and thank you to all our masons, labourers & employees for all their dedication and hard work we greatly appreciate it especially with all the hot weather🌡️coming this week.

We have been extremely busy this season & haven't had the time to post all our completed projects but in the next coming days we will post more of our completed projects.

Crew #2 Finishing up a full restoration overhaul on this historical house in Belleville Ontario! We would like to give a huge thank you to all our employees for their dedication, hard work, professionalism & long days to meet deadlines we truly appreciate it!

✔️ Grinding complete on two walls.
✔️ Two walls washed good before tuck-pointing.
✔️ Damaged bricks removal complete.
✔️ tuck pointing started using lime mortar.
✔️ Window metal flashing started.

At customers request we will be completing two walls before returning in late September to complete the other two walls due to their property being rented during summer months.

Our masons did a fantastic job completing this small parging job,
black pigment (dye) was used in the cement mixture to ensure we could meet our customers request in colour!

We strive to ensure client satisfaction!

Stone veneer on both sides of stair case was cracking and falling off to the point our Masons removed 80% by hand, if proper lath was installed correctly this could of been avoided.
Our crew performed the following on the front stairs case:
✅ Removed Stone veneer both sides.
✅ Grinded out and repaired cracks & holes with filler & fiberated mesh before parging.
✅ Black pigment dye used in cement mixture.
✅ Bonding agent glue applied.
✅ Rough coat parged.
✅ Final good coat parged.
✅ Weather sealant applied 48hrs after completing project.
