DID YOU KNOW?

Your furry friend should always have a lifejacket on! Even if your dog is an amazing swimmer, we always suggest putting a lifejacket on them for extra caution.

The open waters can be unpredictable at times, and a lifejacket will not only help them stay afloat but also keep them warm in the water. Not to mention, all lifejackets have a handle and high visibility colours on them, making it easier to seek out your dog in the water and scoop them out in an emergency.

A pair of boats were destroyed by fire in Belleville's marina at Victoria Park at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Today is Canadian Rivers Day!
I would like to introduce you to my puppy, River.
After Otis and I left Belleville and moved to Ottawa, Otis enjoyed playing in the Ottawa River. Otis passed away on September 30th. I believe he sent me this beautiful puppy and I named her in his honour.

I am so sad to tell you that Otis, whom many of you know, passed away on Monday, September 30th in my arms.
Otis enjoyed playing on the docks, sausage treats and just visiting Meyers Pier.

This is a fun yearly event. Susan always has the most amazing musical entertainers on the main stage. Must not forget the ethnic village--my favourite is the Portugese Chicken. Hope to see my friends and boaters there.

Come down to Belleville Waterfront & Ethnic Festival for many festivities! Including ethnic foods, a variety of vendors, Ultimate Air Dogs, The Tim Hortons
