Hi everyone, my name is Jack Midgley, and I’m running for Town Council in Bonnyville.
Over the past while, I’ve been getting out into the community talking with families, small businesses, seniors, and residents and one thing is clear:
People want to be heard, and they want to see real, practical improvements in our town.
Here’s what I’m focused on:
• Stronger Support for Families & Childcare
Parents are facing real challenges finding affordable and reliable childcare. We need to listen, understand the gaps, and work toward better support both private and public.
• Supporting Local Businesses
Our small businesses are the backbone of our community, but many are struggling. We need to find ways to help them stay open, attract more local traffic, and compete in today’s economy.
• Community Safety & Accountability
Concerns around safety and policing are being raised more and more. We need open communication, accountability, and collaboration to make our community feel safer.
• Better Use of What We Already Have
Before jumping into big new projects, we should be looking at how we can better use existing spaces and resources to serve our community more effectively.
• Listening First, Acting Second
I’m not here to come in with all the answers. I’m here to listen, learn, and work with the community to make informed decisions that actually make sense for Bonnyville.
At the end of the day, this isn’t about politics it’s about our community and the future we want to build together.
👉 Most importantly get out and vote on April 20th. Your voice matters.
If you have thoughts, concerns, or ideas, I’d really like to hear from you.
👉 What matters most to you right now?
