The first kitchen I renovated was in our first home back in 2014. It was a learning experience, and the spark before Big Shawn Renovations started in 2017.

To maximize space in our 1200 sq ft home, we removed the wall dividing the kitchen and formal dining room. Replaced the flooring on the entire main floor and stained the cabinets we bought from Home Depot.

It wasn’t perfect and the finishes weren’t high end, but it was ours and a labour of love.

Over the years I’ve learned new techniques and developed new systems on how I work, but still love how this turned out.
