The beginnings of a backyard worth staying home for.

This deck is taking shape, with a custom pergola still to come. A place for slow mornings, summer dinners, and having everyone over.

Underneath it all, helical piles support the structure, and carefully planned framing sets the stage for everything that follows. The details you’ll eventually stop seeing deserve just as much attention as the ones you’ll show off.

Looking forward to sharing this one as it comes together.

Thinking about making more of your backyard? Let’s talk.

It's a pretty big day for us.

We’re introducing Haché Homes, the new custom-home division of Haché Construction.

We’re now licensed by the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA) and have received our approval from Tarion. It’s a big step for our company, and we’re proud to share it with you.

Haché Homes is about bringing the same care we put into transforming homes to building them from the ground up.

We believe a good home starts long before the foundation goes in. It starts with understanding how you live, what matters to you and what you need from your space. Then putting the drawings, selections, budget and plan together before construction begins.

Thoughtful design. Clear communication. Work we’re proud to put our name on.

And Haché Construction isn’t going anywhere. We’re still here for your renovations and additions. Haché Homes gives our custom-home work a dedicated home of its own.

To everyone who’s trusted us with their home, recommended us or supported the business along the way, thank you. You’ve helped us get here.

Have a property in mind or a home you’ve been thinking about building? Send us a message. Let’s start planning.

Brantford, adding square footage is easy. Making it feel natural, beautiful, and functional takes planning.

For this home, we added a new sunroom designed around natural light, warmth, and everyday family living. The vaulted ceiling, oversized windows, real wood beams, new engineered hardwood, custom cabinetry, and coffee bar all work together to make the room feel comfortable, intentional, and connected to the rest of the home.

But there is a lot happening behind the pretty finishes too.

This project included solar panels, a new electric boiler system, a heat pump, and a major step toward complete electrification of the home. The goal was not just to make the house look better, but to make it perform better for years to come.

Outside, the MAC Architectural Metal siding in teak gives the addition a clean, modern look while keeping the exterior durable and low maintenance.

We also built a new front mudroom, giving the family a more practical entry point and better everyday storage, but that one deserves its own post.

Beautiful spaces are great. Beautiful spaces that function properly, age well, and make daily life easier are even better.

Who says function and style can’t live under the same roof?

This Brantford sunroom addition was designed as a place for the family to relax, gather and simply enjoy being together.

The vaulted ceiling, oversized windows and real wood beams bring warmth, character and an abundance of natural light into the room. Every detail was considered, from the placement of the beams and lighting to the wood stain, custom cabinetry and dedicated coffee bar.

Modern functionality and sustainability were also important parts of the design. Solar panels, an electric boiler system and a heat pump were incorporated to improve comfort, energy efficiency and long-term performance throughout the home.

On the exterior, MAC Architectural Metal siding in a teak finish gives the addition a distinctive architectural look. The metal siding adds warmth and texture while offering a durable, low-maintenance exterior with a long service life, helping combine modern design with a more sustainable approach to building.

The result is a space that feels intentional, comfortable and connected to the way this family lives every day.

We also added a new front mudroom to the home, but we’re saving that transformation for a future feature.

Soft, grounded, and intentionally minimal.

This bedroom was designed to feel like an exhale with warm woods, layered neutrals, and soft lighting that transforms the space from day to night. Even with limited natural light, every detail works together to create a calm, elevated retreat.

Proof that luxury isn’t loud—it’s how a space makes you feel.

Demo is officially underway, and we’re getting started from the basement right up through the main floor and upper level.

Big shoutout to the designer behind this full home remodel. We’re excited to help bring her vision to life.

In this walkthrough, we’re showing the “before” stage before everything starts opening up. This is where walls come down, old finishes come out, surprises show up, and the real transformation begins.

We’ll be sharing more progress as this home gets a full top-to-bottom remodel.

Stay tuned.

Sometimes it only takes one detail to make the whole space feel finished.

We built this covered deck for a client last year, and recently came back to install the new tongue-and-groove ceiling.

The deck was already usable. The furniture was there. The TV was up. The space worked.

But the ceiling completed it.

It brought warmth, texture, and a more finished feeling to the whole outdoor living area. Instead of feeling like a covered deck, it now feels like an extension of the home.

That is why the finishing details matter. One well-planned upgrade can change how the entire space feels.

Join us for this ADU walkthrough.

This backyard suite shows what can happen when design, planning, and construction are handled as one process from the beginning.

An ADU is not just “extra space.” Done properly, it can become a private suite for family, a long-term rental, a guest space, or a way to add real value to your property.
The key is planning it before you build it.

Layout. Permits. Services. Budget. Access. Privacy. Long-term use.

Those details decide whether the project feels like a smart investment or a stressful renovation.

At Haché Construction, we help homeowners move from idea to permit-ready design to a finished build with a clear plan before construction starts.

Watch the walkthrough and see how this backyard suite came together.
