For those of you who love the idea of supporting local, I have a great story to share.
Tim's Bins has been a trusted partner for the last five years, providing timely and friendly service at a very fair price. They are clean and careful when bringing their waste removal bins, and are prompt with their responses and billing. Tim and Jeanette operate the business as a family team, and are wonderful in collaborating to help others.
A prime example: last week, the scope of a front entry we were completing broadened unexpectedly, with the result being that we had a pile of asphalt that would require multiple trips to the dump. I contacted Tim's Bins, asking for a big favour, right before the long weekend (their busiest days). Within the hour, Jeanette got back to me and had arranged to fit me into their schedule that same day. Within a few hours, Tim arrived in St. George, dropped the bin right beside our asphalt pile, and then....GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK AND HELPED ME LOAD THE BIN BY HAND! Can't work for anyone else right now, so might as well stay busy around here! Thankfully, the little ones are up by 7, so by the time we plow through 5 hours of homeschooling, we are outside and hustling by noon!
Sydney has taken to being Daddy's "Messy Work" helper, but Uncle Kelly has really been missed.
Deck coming next - stay tuned.
When we are allowed to get back to work, Inukshuk will be in full swing and ready to help with all your home renovation projects - indoor and outdoor.

We are lucky enough to have the trust and confidence of our clients to execute their visions using unorthodox methods.

This ledge stone mantle retrofit is something I have been deliberating over and collaborating on with the homeowner since she built her home five years ago. How do we get this mantle to look as original as possible without creating a huge mess? The answer: scribe and grind out the backside of the wall sconces into the ledge rock and chisel and carve the back of a slab of live edge pine to fit the veneer face. No big deal! A little bit of temporary shimming and a tube of PL Premium...et voila!

We have worked together from top to bottom, inside and out, starting with her kitchen backsplash, to finishing her basement, landscaping her entire backyard (except the gardens), constructing her "She-Shed" and a whole variety of other projects. This is the final touch on Willits Cottage, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Fantastic project to finish out the season. Lots of design elements and expertise at work here, and two guys collaborating and working in all kinds of weather, using honed and proven methods to achieve top results. Definitely our best executed job to date.
