Is your house cold in the winter, is it hot in the summer? Do you find your furnace turning on often? You may need a top up on your attic insulation.

Many homes built in the 90s and older don’t have a sufficient amount of insulation. The industry standard today is r50 and higher while many older homes are r30 or much less.

Not all older homes can handle an r50 depending on the size of the attic and ventilation needs. However 4 to 8 inches of new insulation on top can make a big impact on the comfort of your home and the cost of your heating bill.
