At Rhyno’s, customer service doesn’t end when the workday does. ❤️⚡

Yesterday afternoon, Jane called us after moving into her new home. Following a power outage, her alarm system started beeping every two minutes. The noise was loud enough that she knew she wouldn’t get any sleep, so she called hoping we could send an electrician right away.

Unfortunately, our electricians were fully booked for the day, and we scheduled her for the following morning.

But when Red Seal Electrician Ashley March heard what was happening, she knew Jane shouldn’t have to spend the entire night listening to the alarm or worrying about her safety. After finishing her shift, Ashley volunteered to stop by Jane’s house to help.

Not only did Ashley fix the constant beeping, she also took the time to show Jane how to properly use her alarm system. While there, Ashley discovered a busted window had been left open and made sure that was taken care of too.

Because of Ashley’s kindness and dedication, Jane was able to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep knowing her home was safe and secure.

At Rhyno’s, we’re proud to support and celebrate the incredible women making their mark in the skilled trades.

Red Seal Electrician Ashley March is leading an all-female crew at The Farmhouse of Asitu’lisk—a truly meaningful project serving Indigenous communities across Atlantic Canada. Working alongside Ashley are Electrical Apprentice Lydia Nauss and Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC HVAC/R student Danica White, representing the next generation of skilled professionals.

Together, they’re contributing to a major electrical and HVAC upgrade at Asitu’lisk—work that will support a space dedicated to culture, language, ecology, health, ceremony, and science.

Asitu’lisk is more than a project site—it’s a place where generations connect, and where all people are welcomed to learn, heal, and grow.

Welcome Back, Craig! 👏

We’re thrilled to welcome back Red Seal HVAC/R Technician & Electrical Apprentice Craig Hendry to the Rhyno’s team!

Craig takes real pride in his work—known for his attention to detail, strong customer service, and putting in a solid day’s work where progress is made every step of the way.

He’s already hit the ground running on a large new build in Mahone Bay, where our team is installing a 3-ton ducted heat pump system, complete with custom ductwork and full electrical services.

One of Craig’s favourite parts of the job? Sharing his knowledge. On this project, he’s working alongside and training HVAC/R Apprentice Jordan Lacey, helping build the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

This is a true team effort, with our friends at Culligan Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador handling the plumbing side of the project.

Great to have you back, Craig—let’s get after it! 💪
