MMP Limited has an immediate opening for an experienced Crew Chief/ Field Technician. MMP Limited is one of the oldest Land Survey firms in the area, commencing its practice in 1906. We provide services throughout Greater Toronto, Hamilton/Burlington, Southern and Central Ontario. We extend beyond our core service area on special projects and circumstances. MMP Limited has also started a new division for underground utility locating. We are trained professional land surveyors with skills and expertise satisfying all requirements of surveying and mapping.

The ideal candidate will work well independently and as part of a team. Someone with strong personal management abilities who appreciates customer service and adherence to strict client deadlines. Some supervisory experience would be an asset. Potential for advancement within a growing company.

Responsibilities include: Field survey data collections and calculations. Lead or assist in daily field survey operations.

Qualifications include: Minimum of 5 years experience and proficiency in using survey equipment such as total station and GPS technology. Familiarity with Trimble equipment would be an asset but not required. Excellent communication skills. Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of industry statutory and regulatory requirements

It is with the utmost appreciation that we accept the duty of ownership passed to us by Ross A. Clarke, having been President of MMP Limited for the last 30 years. Over the years we have worked closely with Mr. Clarke and we thank him for his constant mentorship and trust.

MMP Limited has a long standing and rich history dating back to the late 1800s. From its early association with J.W. Tyrrell to later being established as a survey firm by the MacKay's in the early 1900s, this legacy is one we consider ourselves honoured to be given the opportunity to preserve.
